The above equation is’what’ you want to do as a pioneer, as you must have likely noticed, the underlying theme from the equation is the term”right.” Which obviously captures the whole essence of the role of the CEO as a pioneer -making a company effective. I wish these were all you needed in order to be successful in your role as a leader, but there’s still one missing element in the equation that’s critically important. That missing element is YOU - the leader!

Building a successful company takes the collective efforts of others and not simply the effort of only you the proprietor. It is not a one man show. As Hiro Watanabe observed;“Business is like creating babies, it is not something you can do all on your own; it takes the collective efforts of the others .” You see, while no one person (boss ) can single-handedly build a great business; one wrong individual (leader) can single-handedly bring down a company. How? When you since the company owner begins to think it is about you. This is ordinarily the case with most small business owners. They aren’t predominantly motivated by just how much they are paid; they are primarily motivated by fire and will only follow the right leader whose vision, goal or objective they believe worthy of the commitment and loyalty.
